CharCoat FP leverages a stone wool core with excellent thermal insulation properties, combined with a specialized CharCoat CC Coating that forms a protective barrier. In a fire, the coating slows the heat transfer through the panel, reducing the rate at which the core heats up and acting as a heat sink for conductive penetrations like metal pipes. When paired with CharCoat IS Intumescent Sealant, it ensures a tight seal around services, preventing the passage of flames, smoke, and toxic gases. The system is rigorously tested to meet global fire safety standards.
